Plan: upon arrival an initial welcome with zen cake (which never hurts and then goes well with the Japanese lake 🙂 ), followed by projection of projects/results/strategies for the future. We then divide into teams and have fun cooking and then presenting our dishes. Chalkboards appear, chalks and prosecco that accompany the 'fearable’ jury created on the spot and which churns out votes both on the food itself and on the way of presenting it and telling it through jokes and movie quotes (they remember The Big Binge, Eating Drinking man woman, Chocolat, Ratatouille and the inevitable turtle broth ‘ Babette's Feast)
Guaranteed fun. In outline a dedicated chef, dinner in front of the fireplace, the spirits corner and much more.
They have been telling us for some time that we should also wink at tourism.
Here we are.
Original tour in two steps to the architecture of the second half of the 20th century the one that starts from our villa and arrives at the Brion Tomb. Organized together with the lords of Meter, always non-trivial in their offer, provides for the meeting in the villa for the visit and breakfast to then leave refreshed towards the masterpiece of Carlo Scarpa who decided to be buried there.
The initial purpose of the tour was to leave Villa Bornello to visit residences, factories and architectural sites in Treviso of the second half of 900 (especially of the period 1960-1985) preferably wanted by private clients, united from having believed in architecture as a language creator of places with a strong identity, and from the search for one's own quality of life and a representative place for one's business. Places still modern today. *
Often these patrons were entrepreneurs (as in the case of our villa and the Brion tomb) of the famous North East Model, and it is not out of place to think that these works are in a certain sense allied with the Venetian villas of which they share the territory. The agricultural and landowner use of the Venetian villa is not naturally present in the residences of the wealthy Venetians of the 1960s or 70, young during the war and hit by the economic boom, but they certainly have in common the fact that they were also designed to flaunt a census. The one and the other as representative residences. Hence the contact, 500 years ago as a few decades ago, to well-known architects. Scarpa, Morassutti, surplus, Fontana, Rossi, Goria, Porters&Flag, twin, Pamio, just to name a few of the Treviso area.
Back to our day. The breakfast, ideal opportunity to recharge your batteries and get to know the other participants. This will be followed by a visit to our villa designed by Roberto Pamio in the same years as the Brion Tomb, with its particular spaces, the double-height central hall, the grand monumental staircase, the eccentric cone section in the east wall and the unique "in casa" pond. All embraced by a hectare and a half of parkland.
We then move to the municipality of Altivole and immerse ourselves in the Brion Tomb, a monumental site of recent FAI heritage, with its obvious traits related to modernism, to brutalism, to Venetian art and oriental philosophies.
*It is not excluded that in the future the tour will last the whole day with a visit to other recent architectures.
Recipes, ingredients, come, cooked together with you and your guests. Spices and perfumes like from one of those drugstores of yesteryear who held the door open to spring. You are with your guests in a environment only yours and confidential. Surrounded by greenery and design.
Why at the restaurant? Make it weird. Do it in the villa.
‘Host effect‘ is our new format for individuals and companies looking for something different from the classic restaurant, in which the cooks exploit the environments of the villa and they cook for you on sight, conversing and illustrating foods, wines and pairings. Like the hosts of once upon a time, you risk seeing them grab a chair and sit down nearby to explain to you why that Amarone marries so well the cut or the secrets of a roner with its slow cooking. All having the villa exclusively. A return to the conviviality and slowness of a time when you want to feel good in an exclusive and open space environment with a kitchen that becomes your kitchen. Immersed in greenery and tranquility, away from the crowds, surrounded by design or, for once, not confined to the table of a restaurant or the lobby of a convention center. Choose the menu first. Tailored. The mood too. You have the villa exclusively. A stone's throw from Treviso.
With a chef of your own who cooks for you on sight.

Held in English for a group of agents who came from half of Europe. After an intense day of work in the company they arrived who e, led by Alice and her staff, they tried their hand at cooking and dining on what they had cheerfully prepared. 😜 The pupils go for an aperitif, then they put on their branded aprons, they get to work and have fun and then stand in front of the fireplace with their 'creatures'. They end with the inevitable coffee and a drop of 'Diplomatic'. There is fun in this type of events. Here is everything you need to organize a different way to motivate a team, whether it be employees, clients or prospects. Even at Christmas.
Our customers often want to soak in the verde. This is possible every day of the year. For those who want to bring their guests outside as well, pagodas and marquees I am ideal. Place between villa, pond and park, versatile and wide, ideal for various preparations that follow one another during the event (from the welcome to the ceremony, then to lunch and eventually to the dance, not to mention the possible meeting during the corporate events) it is possible to enjoy the surrounding greenery comfortably seated. In addition to the structures you can use the portici, visit and use environments of the villa and, if you have a green thumb, the paths of the park I'm at your disposal.
The villa it lends itself well to grilling both in winter and in summer. A few days ago, for thirty people, we have set up grill and staff with welcome & spilucchi on the floor of the pond, cena, dance and chat in front of the fireplace.
From 'design addicted' what we are, here is the latest arrival. He is 'Ulysses' designed by Ivan Loss for Sandrigarden in the early 1980s. It is a walking stool, jaunty and ideal for picnics ( how fitting here in the park) trips or conversations in the countryside. Look at the 'brochure' – in those days it was called that – original in the final image where its uses are explained. An iconic piece son of that era and now available to our guests, or rather their backs :-). And then it's also red.
We love working on ours particular mood so different from the sumptuousness and noble storytelling of the Venetian villas. We are easy, cheeky, modern.
The design of the banqueting. Create that order that the guest likes so much. Display and not just serve. Designing a desk is designing a relationship.
Today we are hard. In the sense of hard product. We host Terex, American company producing construction cranes. They brought together who agents from Eastern Europe. (a whole day, from breakfast to aperitif, with the possibility of attending conferences and screenings. For everyone a good dose of meetings but also breaks, breakfasts, aperitifs and conviviality. In a word: networking and motivation. He big park he saw managers and agents wandering around, cellphone to ear, during breaks. Who placed the laptop under a maple tree, who on the sofa, others in the large dining table designed by Pamio, who settled in the lounge on the first floor to dominate the pond and sweep the surrounding countryside with a view. Next week we host the agents from Eastern Europe for another day of business relaxation. This one of ours mood favorites.
We create our buildings and then they create us.

This piecesulla villa rende ilgenius locidella casa raccontandola per i suoi scopi progettualipassede futuri. Because architecture is volume but also use. And even fantasy, come sa bene Mara Pavan, che fa attraversare ad Alice la lunetta del nostro portico-stagno per entrare in un’altra dimensione. Ed in effetti è un po’ così, and the size is very green. Qui da noi forse nessun Bianconiglio, Mad Hatter or Cheshire Cat. Però se volete una festa di ‘non compleanno’ siamo qui 🙂
E’ It was long but we did it. Natalia and Lorenzo had spotted the villa at the beginning 2020 and they chose, true to the line, to postpone the wedding twice just to have it here without masks, restrictions or gizmos of sorts. They chose the symbolic ritual in park, alongside it at lunch, entertainment for children, to the MAGE, to music, to the vintage ice cream maker with cart.
By punctuating the different moments of the day with a script that is possible here because the villa becomes a blank sheet on which customers can design their event together with us in the shadow of modern architecture. An impeccable officiant led the spouses and those present along the stages of a symbolic rite that touched solemn moments and tore a few tears that were then evaporated by the irony and music that enveloped the rite of sand. The spouses read their vows to each other in front of their children and friends and then shared the other ingredients of the day with them.
The marriage of Margherita and Michele. This time housed in a pagoda in the center of the park , not far from the pond around which the appetizer areas are placed, welcome& spills, cheese islands, some meat, of the loaves. Relaxation area and soft aperitif among the trees.
They say that a pagoda and a pond so close to home are reminiscent of Japan. We don't mind this. The pond in turn is aligned with the large internal fireplace; the first as family communion around water in summer and the second meeting around the fire in winter. The two elements look at each other surrounded by wood, Stone, cooked marble, glass and other natural materials.
Curiosity: more and more people are asking us for a tensile structure in the greenery from which to start exploring the park or the villa. It could be a new format 🙂
Matches are won with talent, but it is with teamwork that championships are won.

Mayors, assessors, city councilors, Branded banks and entrepreneurs in the villa for a branded meeting Venetex e Tiscali on the digitization of the territory, the exchange, and maintaining the wealth of companies on the spot.
Gorgeous evening, networking of level, impeccable catering, fully stocked open bar. This is the mood we like so much. ideal for companies that want to offer a format similar to their own customers or ai employees or even for a cooking team building. E, last but not least,, kissed by the sunset.
When rearranging the 'secret rooms' of the Villa you find pleasant surprises. The family of swans in travertine is designed by four hands by Enzo Mari ed Angelo Mangiarotti and produced by the brothers Manelli. Around the mid-1970s.
Experience the villa with objects from its time. Between lights, pouffs, sofas, sessions, paintings, accessories and various objects it is nice to remain consistent with the design of a house whose mood has remained intact over the decades, creating for guests and their events a little experience of architecture.
Between modern and vintage objects you are surrounded by a decidedly environment different from the classic Venetian villa, very customizable. and above all completely besieged by verde.
Remnants of the setup for last night's party. Like Narcissus, Magistretti's Eclipse (1965) is reflected in the pond. Because our villa is different? Because here no Poseidons with the trident, cherubs, eighteenth-century statues or frescoes. From us only Compassi d'oro 🙂
Eclipse – Vico Magistretti for Artemide 1965 – Bornello VILLA
A birthday surrounded by a thousand details. Indoors and outdoors. Caterina wanted the villa exclusively for herself and her guests who were free to visit the rooms and the peace of the park. It's our mood. That's how we are done. (Some images credits Giovanni Margara)
Take a seat. The iconic Panton chairs (strictly red) populate the villa and prepare to receive your B 🙂 sides . Produced by Vitra in the late 1960s and included in various design museums, were the first injection-molded chair design. It is good that they are here, for yours informal events and why cheeky as we like it. You can think of an idea for an event here? Need a tip? Write to us.
One might think that marriages last a whole day. E’ vero, but this was peculiar.
The villa has become the home of the newlyweds where guests and friends can be welcomed as they pass. From the late morning welcome (back from the Municipality) at lunch with closest relatives and friends to then slip into the afternoon to relax and finally meet the closest friends in the evening.
The high customization of the villa has made it possible to change the use of spaces by replacing furniture and services but always maintaining the 'easy mood’ that distinguishes it. It must have been the rich evening banquet, the dances with our DJ or the magic of the evening, in the end the couple were exhausted. We hosted them in the villa.
Lasciandoli assistere all’alba d’autunno nel parco.
The villa's vocation has always been to host corporate events. Many companies and freelancers have passed through here. An entrepreneurial fabric from Treviso and Veneto that loves to contaminate itself thanks to networking opportunities and meetings held here.
In recent months we are partners of Creativity Startup Competition, contest project for startup born within the Treviso Creativity Week. In the company of titled and important companies of Business Angeling Italian which Angels for Impact, Angels for Women ed Impact Hub calls to Treviso to provide some jurors and prizes for the next upcoming award ceremony.
