AN INTIMATE NEW YEAR'S EVE

  • January 10, 2024

This year is a singular New Year's Eve. A well-known entrepreneur and a few select friends.

They wanted the villa all for themselves. For cooking and celebrating. Given the confidentiality and intimacy of the matter, we wanted to photograph only the most unfortunate of them. Two huge lobsters ended up on our stove.

Yet another occasion in which the villa is also suitable for small groups (amici, colleagues, companions, team aziendali, employees or crew for filming) who shy away from restaurants, farmhouses, crowded hotels or public places but they want an intimate place and theirs where to be in peace. In front of the fireplace crackling in winter or at the side of the Japanese pond in estate.

In this case they enjoyed cooking but for the less accustomed we have all kinds of banqueting.

Keep in touch.

GOOD 2024

  • December 29, 2023

Greetings Happy New Year from our two kind dwarves’ (they are in fact a couple, also close-knit judging by the images) who wanted to play with some furnishings and furnishings scattered throughout the villa. The same ones who appear here and there and cheer up yours events with a mood that is sometimes refined and sometimes jaunty.

Playing is the right verb because an event, even if it were business, it must always have a leisure component, playful or, at least, convivial and gastronomic. If you then play with the design it's the best!

BTICINO MAGIC AND VILLA BORNELLO

  • July 25, 2023

They are like the Valda Pads, like fiat 500, like the Bialetti coffee maker, like the Panini stickers. They produced hundreds of thousands of them. They are the plaques of Biticino, the famous 'Magic' series plates’ very widespread over the years 60 e 70, and also produced later.

A recent visit to Mil Science Museumagain , in particular in the area in which the Italian post-war industrial and consumer development was discussed, with examples such as Olivetti,Sip, brionvega, Seleco, it allowed us to see them posing inside their showcases.

Nothing rare, Therefore, however it is nice to think that a clean and linear object that has been part of the Italian costume, del design e del Made in Italy, also peep into the villa. Under, some specimens.

Some museum dudes, In short, like ours floor tiles.

GIO PONTI'S HAND?

  • June 19, 2023

This cute object by Gio Ponti for Casa Fornaroli in Milan is cute, approximately of 1955. Our eye fell because we too…

This wardrobe by Gio Ponti recently went up for auction for the Phillips guys. Gio Ponti designed some things for the house of his friend and colleague Fornaroli, including this particular wardrobe with pass-through door. Below is the first roundup with some photos taken from auction notice. Below are the images of one of our boiseries with similar functions designed by Roberto Pamio for the villa. In fact, it hides environments and passages. And we also have the original drawings 🙂

Our particular hallway features a custom-made wardrobe. As well as containing clothes and things, leads to two environments. We also have one of this project model original of the time made by the architect on cardboard (and Carioca pastels, judging by ‘ treatment’ :-)) to better understand the development of the project and the colors.

Note the colored 'Arco coat hangers in the third image’ designed by Luigi Caramella for 'Con&With’ e, last but not least, positioned for both adults and, down, for children…

JOYFUL BRAND & LOVING. THEY TALK ABOUT US

  • May 1, 2023

Joyful and loving brand it's a new people & lifestyle magazine distributed in the Province of Treviso. With its own breezy mood it tells of an innovative North East but with an eye on history, business and beyond. They stumbled upon ours villa and it was immediately elective affinity.

Signed by Prando Prandi, famous for having often written about Venetian entrepreneurship not only as a journalist but also as a writer, already in force as marketing director at groups such as Stefanel, Mionetto, Aperol, Deroma and known signature of the Gazzetta dello Sport , Gazzettino and others for years, the piece allows for the first time to retrace the history of the villa from both an architectural and a sociological point of view, going these two things more and more merging in recent times. Why such a villa in Treviso in those years and what are the real reasons for its construction? What is the reason for this particular relationship with her nature that surrounds it? Because this kind of architecture and what are the social functions of the villa in addition to residence? The symbolism of water aligned with fire, the play of light given by the rise of the sun from dawn to zenith, its representative function, the dinners of the past and the today's events.

But most of all: because we have goldfish almost in the living room?

A modern villa daughter of its era, where it is pleasant to come across design and details that have stubbornly survived fashions and built with spaces for conviviality. Conviviality once of the owners and now of the customers who organize it corporate events, ceremonies, shootings and not only.

ULYSSES, THE WALKING DESIGN

  • October 5, 2022
ULISSE, IL DESIGN DA PASSEGGIO

From 'design addicted' what we are, here is the latest arrival. He is 'Ulysses' designed by Ivan Loss for Sandrigarden in the early 1980s. It is a walking stool, jaunty and ideal for picnics ( how fitting here in the park) trips or conversations in the countryside. Look at the 'brochure' – in those days it was called that – original in the final image where its uses are explained. An iconic piece son of that era and now available to our guests, or rather their backs :-). And then it's also red.

We love working on ours particular mood so different from the sumptuousness and noble storytelling of the Venetian villas. We are easy, cheeky, modern.

EVENT DESIGN

  • April 19, 2022

Remnants of the setup for last night's party. Like Narcissus, Magistretti's Eclipse (1965) is reflected in the pond. Because our villa is different? Because here no Poseidons with the trident, cherubs, eighteenth-century statues or frescoes. From us only Compassi d'oro 🙂

THE WHOLE VILLA. BECAUSE?

  • September 16, 2021
LA VILLA INTERA. PERCHÉ?

Capita, infrequently to tell the truth, who ask us for only one room. It might as well be ( for example for the business meetings) but the nice thing about having your own event here is being able to feel 'at home’ own for the duration of the event. Feel free to wander around an architecture literally merged with green. Browse the interiors, float in front of the pond, explore the park, chat with friends and colleagues.

And then the arcades , the furnishings, le luci. More than a location it is one little experience of modern architecture very close to Treviso. And in those hours the place is yours, everything, without without the risk of crossing concomitant events.

Like last night when Arianna celebrated her own birthday between orchids and treats. A welcome with an aperitif and then a long series of finger foods before the pumpkin risotto, speck and walnuts, some fruit, of the cake. All garnished with music and relaxation.

Except for small business teams comfortably housed in one of the offices on the first floor, for groups of twenty or more people we do not have a 'room’ secluded and given the particular distribution of spaces it is inevitable that they are all lived. But it is also the beauty of a location like this. The advantages – so far appreciated by our typical customer – are being able to live your event without having confirmations a few meters away, baptisms, birthdays, or other concurrent events in the same property (as sometimes other villas or restaurants do) and the possibility, maybe a little bit’ flirtatious, to entertain their guests in a structure different than usual.
